2nd Passport Application

All passport services require us to pre-book an appointment to attend on your behalf. Please note that we can attend the London office only. Appointment times are subject to availability at the Passport Office in London and cannot be guaranteed.


Processing time is 1 week on standard services for first time 2nd passports. The new book will be mailed to the address placed on the

application form directly from the Passport Office within 1 week of the appointment. 2nd passport renewals can be applied for on express services and the new book will be collected on the day of the appointment.


To apply at the Passport Office, you must be currently in the UK. Those residing abroad, must apply for an Overseas British passport.

If the primary passport cannot be supplied, please send a full copy of every page. Please note, however, that your company letter must

confirm why the primary book cannot be supplied.


When applying for a 2nd passport renewal and you are unable to provide both passports, you can send a copy of every page of the book NOT being renewed. If this is the case, the company

letter must confirm why the original 2nd book cannot be sent. This reason cannot be because you are traveling outside of the UK.

The company letter will not be accepted if it is a copy - please ensure the original is provided.

Documentation Required

You must enclose all required documentation in full when sending your application to us. Failure to do so may result in a delay with your application while this information is sought

First Time 2nd Passport Application

  • Passport application fully completed and signed obtained from any UK Post Office.

  • UK passport regulation photographs x2 – these must not be the same photos used in your current passport

  • Original letter from employing business on company letterhead and signed by a manager or above. It must state your employed position, the need and reason for a 2nd passport and approximate travel itinerary for the next 3-6 months to evidence this need.

  • Original primary passport – If you cannot supply the primary passport, the employers letter must explain why the passport cannot be supplied. This cannot be because you are traveling as you must be in the UK during the process. You can supply a full colour copy of every page of the book as an alternative only if your letter confirms why the original cannot be supplied.


Renewals of a 2nd passport must provide the following

  • Application Form - For standard services, you will need to obtain a passport application from a Post Office. For express service, the application is completed online, which we will complete on your behalf. 

  • UK passport regulation photographs x2 – these must not be the same photos used in your current passport. For express services, the photo can be emailed.

  • Original Passport to be renewed

  • Original 2nd passport - If you cannot supply the original 2nd passport, the employers letter must explain why the passport cannot be supplied. This cannot be because you are traveling as you must be in the UK during the process. You can supply a full colour copy of every page of the book as an alternative only if your letter confirms why the original cannot be supplied.

  • An originally signed company letter confirming the continuous need for a 2nd passport with an itinerary of travel for the next 3-6 months. For express services, the letter must be emailed before we can book your appointment.
