Replacement passports are for those that have had their passports stolen or have lost them.

All passport services require us to pre-book an appointment to attend on your behalf. Please note that we can attend the London office only. Appointment times are subject to availability at the Passport Office in London and cannot be guaranteed. 

Processing time is 1 week on standard services for replacement passports. The new book will be mailed to the address placed on the application form directly from the Passport Office within 1 week of the appointment.

All applications for Lost or Stolen British passports are required to obtain a Passport Application form from their local post office as well as a LS01 form. These forms must be completed in black ink with legible hand-writing. Please ensure that the forms are signed and dated in the correct places.

If your passport has been Lost or Stolen, it is important to report this to your local police or report it online to have it cancelled. This can be done at https://www.gov.uk/report-a-lost-or-stolen-passport

Please note HMPO may request you attend an interview as part of the application process.
