Documentation Required To

Apply for an Egypt Business visa

You must enclose all required documentation in full when sending your application to us. Failure to do so may result in a delay with your application while this information is sought.

  • Original passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of travel to Egypt. Holders of non-European passports must have a valid UK visa for atleast 6 months beyond date of travel to Egypt

  • Application form printed, completed & signed (download Visa Pack above)

  • UK Passport regulation photograph x2

  • Letter of Invitation from the company you are visiting in Egypt

  • Letter from UK company confirming business travel & details of applicant's visit.

Important Information
If this service has any special requirements, processes or rules they will be listed here. If applicable to this service, please read this section carefully to ensure you fully understand the entirety of the process.

Nationals from UK , EU and USA travelling to Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba resorts ONLY, for a maximum of 15 DAYS, do not require a visa prior to travelling as a free entry permission stamp will be granted upon arrival. If they intend to travel outside of the above mentioned areas they MUST obtain a Visa.


Nationals from Arab countries are advised to contact the Consulate General before applying for the visa in person in order to confirm the required documentation.


Malaysian nationals can stay in Egypt for up to two weeks without a visa. If their stay exceeds two weeks, the usual requirements apply.


Processing time in the embassy is usually between 5 business days. Once the embassy has begun the process, the passport will be unavailable until the process is complete.


The embassy will issue 6 months validity on all visas. Single entry allows up to 60 days stay on entry whilst multiple entry allows up to 90 days stay.
